Chapter of the week... Chemical Play. Sounded pretty scary to me. Visions of Sulfuric Acid burning and blistering freaked me out. I couldn’t imagine how chemicals could be an enjoyable part of sex. After reading the chapter, I’m relieved to find out they’re talking about an innocuous type of chemical.

Chemical play refers to the use of common chemical substances during sex. These substances are used to increase sexual excitement through tactile sensations. They are applied anywhere on the body, including the genitals, anus, inner thighs, and nipples. The products can be purchased in oil, ointment, and gel forms in most adult stores. However, regular household items can be used, too, such as: chili peppers, ginger root, tabasco, lemon, cinnamon, Bengay, and Vicks Vapor Rub.

Once we finish learning about a new topic, we sit down to plan a scene involving what we’ve learned. When we set out on this journey, my goal was to rekindle the intimacy in our marriage. But I’ve discovered that what I cherish most is the intimate conversations. In this lifestyle, communication is the foundation. Every step requires open and honest dialogue for the bonds of trust to strengthen. Even with running a business together, Sully and I have never had better communication than we have now. And planning a scene is one of my favorite times. The anticipation of knowing what’s to come is an aphrodisiac.

Dealing with chemicals, even if they are harmless, I’d prefer it be natural. While planning our scene, Sully and I agree to use cinnamon oil. I love cinnamon! Candy, rolls, toast, whiskey. I think it’s the perfect chemical to start with.

“Are you sure cinnamon oil is the way to go for the first time? Sully asks with apprehension.”

“Of course, I love cinnamon. It’s my favorite flavor.”

“You do know you’re not going to be eating it, right???”

I roll my eyes and shake my head in disbelief that he would even ask such a thing.

“Keep that up missy and we’re going to be delving into more of the discipline side of this endeavor.”

His tone was a bit threatening, sending a shiver down my spine and a warming sensation pools in my sex. I think Sully is enjoying his newfound dominance.

He tethers my wrists to the silk scarves attached to the headboard of the bed. He pulls my knees apart opening me up to him. We’ve been together over 30 years, you would think I would be comfortable exposing myself to my husband. But in this open position, I feel modest and vulnerable.

Sully’s tongue flicks across the tip of my bare breast. I shudder with delight as he nips the other. He paves a trail of soft kisses down and over my tummy, making his way between my legs.

His warm breath skims across my mound and I quiver in its wake. He dips his tongue into my heat, exploring every inch of me. I moan with need and come undone. His Relentless assault leaves me tingly and numb.

My euphoric state is disrupted when cool air rushes over my body.
